Lumen Dynamics Fluorescence Illuminator available

I have available a Lumen Dynamics X-Cite PC 120 XL Illuminator.

It is controllable by computer and software such as microManager and similar things.

It is based on an Osram HXP 120 UV lamp which is a metal halide. It has a much much longer life than an HBO 100. Like 4,000 hours versus a couple of hundred. (Most HBO lamphouse instructions say to change the lamp after two or three hundred hours. )

The unit comes with a zero time lamp in a sealed carton. (lamps have an odometer chip with digital readout of hours on the illuminator) The unit is unused and cosmetically perfect. It does not have original factory packaging.

Priced to sell. If you want to get into fluorescence this is one of the best illuminators you will find. They are doing a lot with LEDs these days but they don't put out UV the way a short arc lamp can. Yet.
